there were amazing clouds today! weeeeeeeeee!

i haven't taken photos of clouds in ages, so today as soon as i saw them i ran up the hill next to my house
and took so many pictures.

these are just a few of them, i don't want to bore you too much!

i go back to uni tomorrow, which means i'll have less time to shoot. i still have a couple of things left
planned which will happen very soon, but in the meantime i'm going to try and take some pictures
everyday. of just ordinary things, but i will make them beautiful.

the other day i bought a new flash before i went to take pictures of ronan keating (which unfortunately i
can't post up here). i got the 580ex mkii, and its amazing. i can finally do some of my night time shoot
ideas now.

lately i've kind of been floating on clouds, not thinking much, not worrying about anything and just
keeping myself happy. tomorrow is like im going to get snapped back into reality.

thoughts become things

lately i've been borrowing dan's books and have been reading 'notes from the universe' (all three of them) by mike dooley before i go to sleep.

here is a quote that has stuck in my head:

just yesterday i started saving up to be able to travel. after just a year i will have finished uni and have enough to go overseas. i want to travel the world to do what i love, with what i earn by doing what i love. it all comes back to taking pictures.

i've been feeling a little more inspired than usual lately.

midnight horizon

for two days i hanged out with midnight horizon and took pictures of them rehearsing. the first picture is where dan and me stayed up till about two in the morning putting up the garage wall and making a stop motion (which you will see soon) for the money film trailer. the rest of the pictures are snaps from the day; them rehearsing, max and me taking pictures of each other, guitars and couches.

this shoot was amaaaazing! i have so so many more photos to show you all, and will soon. it feels like i've been attached to my camera for the past three days and took about 2000 photos since thursday.

i also have a little video clip trailer that im working on that will be posted up once its finished and some acoustic recordings of my boyfriend's band, midnight horizon.

all to come soon though! i have lots of work ahead of me this week.
